Community Acupuncture Clinic

Modeled after traditional Chinese clinics, Community Acupuncture is now gaining popularity throughout the United States. The aim is to make treatments accessible to a greater portion of the public with the prospective of more frequent sessions. The newly constructed Community Room in Watercourse Way provides a relaxing setting for up to three patients to quietly rest in armchairs, each receiving their own personalized treatment.

For New-Patients, the first session includes a more extensive intake during wich an individualized protocol is devised. Treatments typically last between 30 - 45 minutes.

The treatments will focus on needling areas below the elbows and knees, so loose clothes are appropriate.

New-Patient appointments run on a sliding scale of $30-50; follow-up treatments range between $20-40. Lowering the cost per treatment allows the client to afford to receive treatments more often. There is strong empirical evidence that shows a positive correlation between decreasing the intervals between acupuncture treatments and fast, comprehensive healing. When received daily or multiple times per week, the efficacy of the treatments is greatly enhanced.

Please stop in or call to speak with one of the practicioners if you have any questions.
