Lynette Pritchard, CMTLynette, a Brattleboro native, was introduced to Shiatsu while receiving a liberal arts degree through Burlington College. She went on to study the healing arts in northern California at Heartwood Massage Institute. During a year and a half program, she became certified in Shiatsu Acu-pressure, Polarity Therapy, and Neo-Reichian Massage. She tends to integrate all three modalities into a treatment and is able too full sessions of a particular kind. Neo-Reichian is a full body sequence using oil or lotion to apply light to deep pressure. Designed to allow for the release of muscular tension, it also promotes the release of emotional trauma or cellular memory stored in the body. Polarity Therapy is energy balancing used to clear blockages and restores flow on the physical, mental, and etheric planes. Acupressure gives attention to balancing the organs and elements by stimulating specific points. Lynette also draws upon guidance received by elders of several Native American tribes that she has lived and worked with. She enjoys co-creating an atmosphere where one is able to relax, release, and recharge. Zöe Scott, CMTZöe fell in love with massage therapy many years ago. She was exposed to bodywork while living in the Virgin Islands with group of healers trainedin massage, energy work and herbalism. Since that inspiration, she received formal training from Stillpoint massage School. Zöe finds massage personally gratifying and enjoys helping people listen to and love their bodies. Her focus is on therapeutic massage that helps diminish chronic and acute muscular pain and reliving stress. Zöe integrates several approaches to body work. Trigger Point therapy can be extremely helpful for releasing holding patterns, and she mixes this with Deep Tissue Massage and Swedish techniques to create a relaxing, nourishing and rejuvenating session. Zöe feels called to do this type of work and considers it a blessing to hold space for healing and growth for her clients. Melissa Jane Hall, CMTFor the last few years I have been practicing bodywork in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale areas with people from all over the world, and have been presented with a variety of different body types, diagnoses, conditions, and lifestyles. My experiences have led me to create an integrative approach to nurturing and healing the mind, body, and spirits of my clients. I implement Neuro-muscular and Trigger Point techniques to decrease muscle tension and soreness, release toxicity of muscles, stimulate circulation, increase range of motion and realign posture. I utilize Deep Tissue and Sports Massage techniques to stimulate circulation and digestion, eliminate and remove toxins, and increase respiration. My bodywork also incorporates Trager and Craniosacral methods to relax the nervous system, regulate hormones, and release blockages or holding patterns within the body's tissues. Throughout each session I will be using Shiatsu, Reiki, and Healing Touch techniques to balance and soothe the energies of the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. As a result of my work, my clients have expressed a greater sense of health, happiness, and harmony within themselves and the world at large. Massage Styles
